Pete Algotson (Benmont Tench - keyboards) grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden. His passion for music began at 5 with classical piano, organ, guitar, accordion and harmonica. At age 20 he left Sweden behind to begin his soul search landing him in Cleveland, the Rock and Roll Capital of the world. Pete has played in several well known Dance and Rock bands. Venues include performances at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, countless festivals, private engagements and many of your favorite local night clubs. He has been playing with Shadow of Doubt since 2015 and uses a Yamaha ES8 board coupled with a Hammond XK5 for authentic sound reproduction.
Jonathan Salerno (Ron Blair - bass, vocals) Jon's musical interests started at a young age, with both sides of his family active in the music field. He was drawn to drums around the age of 5, influenced by an older drum-playing cousin. Jon briefly dabbled with the trumpet in 5th grade but gave it up after having his appendix out... which led to him trying the clarinet! His uncle tried teaching him guitar but Jon just couldn't find his focus until summer 1980 when his mother bought him his first bass: a no-name Fender Jazz knock-off purchased for $44. From there his musical interests skyrocketed. Jon is a self-taught instinctive musician learning from other friends & musicians and listening to records or tapes to hone his craft. His first official bass amp was a Peavy TNT100 100-watt amp and he was on his way. Since then he's been gigging all around the Cleveland area playing with: Yantra, XLR8, The Choice, Art Attack, Picture This, Forte’, DreamLine, Signals, Perfect Logic, Driven, Grooved Pavement, and now Shadow of Doubt.
